Well, the summer is over at last and as of today, school is officially back in session at Upper Iowa University.
The summer here can be very slow since the town is small and the exodus of students and faculty at the beginning of May leaves the campus feeling abandoned, or at least hibernating.
Because of this, I like to try interesting things. This year, for the second year in a row, I have done what I call the Intensive English Program Summer Literary Challenge, where I take some short text and break it into small sections. I record people on campus saying the parts and then put then all together into one video. It is a fun team-building activity for the university as a whole.
This year I decided on Green Eggs and Ham since it’s one that most people know. The results are below. Enjoy!
